From the desk of Mr. Koch

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!  What a year it has been!  We have missed seeing our students and are anxiously awaiting their return.  During these unprecedented times, the safety and well-being of students, staff, and community members is at the forefront of the decision-making process.  We ask that we practice patience and understanding during these changing times.  I think we all would agree that our kids need the school environment and all the experiences and opportunities gained from being in a productive educational setting.

I believe that strong community-school relationships are critical for high learning achievement and I truly appreciate the support, involvement, and enthusiasm from the North Harrison community.  The North Harrison community is full of pride and recognizes the value of educational opportunities and extracurricular activities.  Students, parents, administration, and dedicated staff work together as a team (family) and expect excellence in and out of the classroom settings.  In addition to excellence, we strive to create a school climate where safety, respect, and accountability are the number one priority.  Our students and staff reflect these expectations through their character and commitment.

It is our goal to keep you informed of all that is taking place during the school year.  The school website www.nhr3.net will be a valuable tool for communication and information on upcoming school events and announcements.  The student handbook provides important information about our school’s philosophy, procedures, and policies.  The handbook is a guide as to the way we operate as a school district.  Also included in the handbook are behavioral expectations and guidelines for students.  There have been some changes from year to year, so please read the handbook carefully and use it as a reference throughout the year.

We would like to welcome several wonderful additions to our 2020-2021 North Harrison staff (family):
