ACCEPTING DONATIONS NOW!

The Noyes Home for Children Needs Donations

FCCLA is collecting donations for the Noyes Home for Children.

This is  a home for children that have nowhere to live.  It operates totally on donations, not government funding.  They serve children of all ages, birth to age 18 and both boys and girls. They never know from one day to the next how many children they will have.  Children are often dropped off without prior notice and most come with nothing but the clothes on their back. If you would like to donate any of the items on the wish list or clothes your family no longer wears, bring them to school this week.  They also accept personal products.

Please bring in your donations for the Noyes Children's Home this week by Thursday.  We will deliver the donations on Friday.  Thanks to everyone who donated to help needy children.

The FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) organization at North Harrison High School is taking donations for the Noyes Home in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Noyes Home's mission is to help heal whole families by caring for children and giving parents the time and support they need to solve life’s changes. Some families are facing emergencies like homelessness or serious illness of a parent; others have children who are awaiting a foster placement, or children who are unable to perform successfully at home and school and need a fresh start. For over 100 years the Noyes Home has depended on donations of supplies, equipment and money to operate. They do not rely on government funding. The Noyes Home offers children the opportunity to have a safe environment and work with therapists or social workers to manage their joys and sorrows. Mrs. Adcock and our FCCLA chapter are accepting all sorts of articles of clothing, personal products, toys, and travel hygiene items. The children who reside at the Noyes Home are infants through High School so a wide variety of items are needed. New items are also accepted.
