Red Ribbon Week 2017
October 23-26
Making Good Decisions is the KEY to Success
WHAT IS RED RIBBON WEEK?: Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention program designed to build healthy youth. During this week we will talk about taking pride in making healthy decision and how every decision, positive or negative, affects our lives. This week will be a fun time to celebrate positive choices and have fun all at the same time.
RED RIBBON WEEK DRESS-UP DAYS: (STUDENTS K-12 ARE ALL ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE)
Monday-“A good night’s rest is KEY”—Come to school in your pajamas
Tuesday-“Good Decision Making is the KEY to a great future”—Dress-up as what you want to be when you grow-up
Wednesday- “UNLOCK a Fit Future”—Wear your best workout outfit
Thursday-“Education is the KEY to success”—Wear your Green and White
We encourage all students to dress-up and participate in this week’s events to promote a positive school environment. There will be winners selected each day for the best dress-up outfit as well as at the end of the week for the class with the most participation. Students will receive a prize each day for either participating in the dress-up days or wearing their Red Ribbon, which is sponsored by our Bethany Hy-Vee.
