Your task will be to create an alternative ending to slavery other than war. You will be assigned a specific role to research. You will determine feasibility, reactions, and what to do with the newly freed African-Americans. You will then join with a "committee" to create a persuasive speech outlining your proposals to the "36th Session of Congress." You will need to be creative with your research in order to accomplish your goals. |
