Geometry Engineer

The geometry engineer is responsible for making accurate measurements and gathering data regarding the various platonic solid shapes. You must know how to use a standard ruler to measure in inches. You must know how to accurately measure using a metric ruler. You will need to determine the area of each of the regular faces of the various platonic solids.

  • The geometry engineer will calculate the surface area of the platonic solids, and eventually will calculate the volume of the each of the platonic solids.
  • You will need to make a comparison and justify why your team has chosen one particular platonic solid over another. What makes your package (platonic solid) more feasible/practical to market?
  • The geometry engineer is responsible for creating a data table or excel spreadsheet that depicts all of the measurement data you have collected. You will need to teach the other members of your marketing team the Polyhedral Formula: F+V-E=2
