Step 1: Stack the books on top of each other, place one ruler on the books creating a ramp, tape the other ruler to the desk with one edge touching the books under the ramp. Record the rise and the run by measuring the height of the books and the distance the ramp is from the books. Step 2: Record the rise and run after moving the books to make the ramp steeper. Repeat this process 3 times. Step 3: Return the books to the original placement and add books to the stack. Record the rise and run after adding books. Repeat this process 3 times. Give the completed data sheet to the teacher. |
