North Harrison Mathematics 2009-2010 Welcome back! I hope everyone had a good break. I am looking forward to a fun and productive year. I have listed my rules and expectations below. This is to help you know what is expected of you. All of these are subject to change without notice. If this happens, I will let you know of the change as soon as possible. Rules and Expectations:
This means:
NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED! If a student is absent, arrangements will be made for make-up work. If a student is absent on a test day a make-up test will be given when the student returns. Discipline: Grading: The grades will be determined as follows: Be sure to keep all assignments and tests. If there is a discrepancy, it cannot be changed unless you have the original assignment! Tests – All tests will be taken during class time unless arrangements have been made otherwise. Homework – Students can expect an assignment everyday. They will be given time to work in class, but will not be expected to complete the work during that time. Homework is due at the beginning of the hour the following day. Participation – To earn the participation points you must show up on time and prepared. You must also be involved in class discussion and show you are being attentive during the lesson. You must also use work time to work, not talk, etc. You start with 10 points each day. It is up to you how many you lose. Tutoring – Dates for tutoring will be posted on the board. These will vary from week to week depending on my schedule. If the posted times do not work for you, just come see me and we will work something out. I am looking forward to a great semester. I will do all I can to help you, just ask. I hope that you will see me if you have any questions or problems. I have listed my phone number at the top of the page. Please feel free to contact me. |
