Standards

• Identify the properties of 1-, 2-, and 3- dimensional shapes using the appropriate geometric vocabulary.
• Describe relationships between the corresponding angles and the length of corresponding sides of similar triangles (whole number scale factor).
• Describe relationships between corresponding sides, corresponding angles and corresponding perimeters of similar polygons.
• Describe the relationship between the scale factor and the perimeter of the image using a dilation (contractions, magnifications, stretching and shrinking).
