If North Harrison has an extended building closure, the following methods of instruction may be used: teleconference, independent practice and application of previously taught concepts, app or web-based software to teach/reinforce concepts, virtual instruction and/or flipped classroom.
During a closure, students who do not have devices and/or internet access, will be provided devices and/or internet hotspots as needed. If you know your student would need internet access, please let the district know as soon as possible.
If a teacher uses paper/pencil and or manipulatives, those items will be delivered to the appropriate students.
The district will provide resources to assist with social, emotional and mental health of students and staff. The school counselor will provide support in a one on one setting both face to face or virtually if needed.
The SRCSP stakeholders will meet every 6 months or as necessary to discuss any needed updates/revisions to the plan. As this plan is a working document, all stakeholders understand that this plan may need to be modified/revised more frequently depending on outside factors.
