Happy Birthday

Student of the week goes to Collin Briggs for leadership and hard work.  Congratulations Collin for being nominated for student of the week.  Please see Mrs. Smith to get your picture and prize.

Breakfast today is: omelet, toast, fruit, juice

Lunch today is: cheeseburger, french fries, corn, fruit/veggie bar

Breakfast tomorrow is: cinnamon roll, fruit, juice

Lunch tomorrow is: teriyaki chicken, rice, stir fry veggies, jello, fruit/veggie bar

 

Wednesday: A rep from Southwest Community college will be here at 10:00 to visit with interested juniors and seniors. Those signed up are Grant C., Kadyn H., Collin, Lola, Ashlynn, Naomi, Aaron

FCCLA members will be attending the regional meeting in Maryville. Bus will depart at 8:05am

This will be the start of district softball hosted by North Harrison. The first games will be played at 6:00 between Grundy and East Harrison. Concession stand workers are Ashlynn, Kenna, and Sara

Thursday: The Western MO Laborers will be here to talk to any juniors or seniors interested.

Night 2 of softball districts. Princeton will play the winner from the Wednesday night game starting at 5:00. North Harrison will play Mercer beginning at 6:45. The winners from these two games will play on Saturday at 11:00am. Concession stand workers on Thursday will be (1st shift) Ana, Hunter, Kylie, and Kaylee. (2nd shift) Steven, Kaden, and Kason.

Friday: The Varsity Football boys will head to North Shelby for a game beginning at 7:00. Our football boys will leave about 12:45 and pick up VoTech football boys on the way to Pattonsburg.

End of the 1st Quarter. Make sure all work is completed and turned in to your teachers!

Saturday: The City of Eagleville will be holding their fall festival Saturday.

The 1st place game of districts will be played on Saturday beginning at 11:00. Admission will be $5.00, 5 and under free, no passes accepted. Concession stand workers are Naomi, Emma, Liza

The FCCLA will hold their 1st annual Momster Mash dance on Sunday from 5-7. This is a mother/son dance held in the school cafeteria for elementary aged kids.

Monday: School picture retake day. If you were not here on picture day you will get your picture taken Monday. If you were unhappy with the pictures you ordered, please bring your packet back and they will retake the picture.

Tuesday: The junior high basketball teams will kick off their season playing at Mercer starting at 6:00.

 

Grades will need to be imported by 3:30 on Monday, October 21 for placement on lists. This is the end of the first quarter.

Thursday - Boys and Girls 3:30 to 5

Friday - Girls 5:00 to 6:30  Boys 3:30 to 5:30

Saturday - Open Gym 8 to 9:30 AM

 

Junior High softball players need to get uniforms turned in and your equipment taken home.

Softball season at home is getting close to the end. Please check with the concession stand or office to see if you owe a tab and get that paid as soon as possible.

Seniors-you will have your class picture on Sunday, October 27 at 5:45 at Steven’s grandparent’s house.

We are placing orders for stadium blankets for $35.00. The blankets are thin, fleece lined, water resistant blankets with a nylon carrying bag. These blankets are warm and will block the wind. Each blanket is personalized with the North Harrison logo. If you are interested, there is a google doc on the website and on facebook, or call the office at 660-867-5221.

 

Parents, if you are dropping your student off at the high school side in the mornings, and the buses are unloading, please do not pass the bus until they are completely finished. They will pull their stop sign in when it is safe to pass. We have small children on the buses and you never know when one will be darting across the road.
