Little Rocks Cheer Camp
The North Harrison Cheerleaders will once again be holding our Little Rocks Cheer Camp in February. Your child/children are encouraged to participate in this fun and exciting adventure into what it’s like to be a ‘real’ cheerleader. Please remember that boys can be cheerleaders, too. Just watch any college game.
Camp will be held on Wednesday, February 10th, Thursday, February 11th, Tuesday, February 16th, and Wednesday, February 17th, immediately after school until 4:30 p.m. We will be learning cheers, chants, and a dance routine to be performed on Thursday, February 18th during our Senior Night festivities. The Little Rocks will perform that evening during halftime of the girls game.
Cost of the camp is $15.00, payable to North Harrison Cheerleaders. Your child will receive a camp T-shirt and you will receive a gate pass to the Senior Night game for your child and one adult. The excitement your child will experience will be something they will talk about for a long time.
Sign-up with your $15.00 payment no later than Tuesday, February 2nd so that we have plenty of time to get T-shirts ordered.
Your child will need to send a note to school EACH day that they will be staying after school for camp. For your convenience, we have attached notes below to be filled out and given to the Elementary office. You will also need to make arrangements for someone to be at the Elementary School Entrance to pick your child up AT 4:30 each day. This pick up time is VERY important as the Cheer girls have basketball games to cheer at.
Your child will need to wear their gym shoes from school to practice each day and also to perform. We ask that everyone wear black shorts and the Camp Cheer shirt for the Thursday night game performance. If your child has a cheer uniform, they are welcome to wear it as well.
