The softball teams will host Tri-County this evening with the girls game beginning at 5:30. The gatekeeper will be Mr. Purdun.
Tomorrow we will dismiss at 12:30 and then off to the fair. Monday we will not be in session for Labor Day.
Gr 11-12: All JUNIORS will have a Guidance Workshop on Tuesday, September 7 at 8:45-9:54 in the eMINTS Classroom. The Northwest Missouri State University rep from Maryville will discuss college terms and progress, how to compare colleges/teach schools, admission requirements, ACT Score use, scholarships, A+ benefits, College Fair, etc. SENIORS considering Northwest or who would like the workshop info should sign up in advance and make arrangements with teachers to be excused from classes.
Tuesday the softball teams will travel to North Mercer, departing at 3:30. The girls game will begin at 5:30. The North Mercer Athletic Booster Club has invited us to a Tail Gate Party on Tuesday. Service will begin at 4:30 and go until game time. For only $5 a plate you get a pork burger, baked beans, chips, and dessert! Everyone is welcome to join them!
Mrs. Percell is looking for those interested in competing on the Varsity Academic Team. Interested 9-12th graders should meet in her room Wednesday, September 8 at 3:20. Practice will last until 4:30. (Kids will all types of knowledge are needed...the arts, sports, current events, math, science....AND you get a cool shirt to wear!)
The HDC Softball Tournament will be played next Friday and Saturday at the Bethany ballfields with Ridgeway School as the host. The tournament bracket will be announced Thursday, September 9.
