
Students will be awarded 10 class participation points each day which will count as 20% of their overall grade. Points will be deducted based upon a students failure to participate responsibly in the classroom community. Deductions will be made for tardiness, sleeping, disruption, lack of preparedness, and lack of participation.
Students have the opportunity to earn a Shamrock Pass after each 2 week grade check if they meet the following requirements: perfect attendance, no tardies, no probation/suspension, no discipline referrals. Shamrock Passes are awarded from the office. Students who receive a shamrock pass will have their name submitted to a raffle for prizes. Please refer to the student handbook for questions regarding participation and shamrock passes.
